DREAMING OF THE MOON On July 20 1969 American astronaut Neil Armstrong paused on the bottom rung of his Lunar Module ladder and looked down The surface appears to be very very fine grained as you get close to it it’s almost like a powder he reported over his helmet radio Then as around 600 million people watched from their television sets on Earth Armstrong lowered his left foot onto the Moon’s surface He had just become the first human in history to step onto another world His following words would be forever printed in the history books beside his name That’s one small step for a man one giant leap for mankind
