Author’s note First of all let me introduce myself I am Alain M Bergeron the author to whom Billy Stuart has told his many adventures Over the course of these pages you will notice I feel the need to add my two cents directly into Billy’s story so as to clarify a point or some bit of information add a personal commentary amuse myself all of the above My presence in this book and the following ones will be through the use of an author’s note These little interruptions look like a note glued to a page And now you can get back to your reading
The Recap Billy Stuart has promised to take care of FrouFrou the MacTerrings dog for the whole summer and is dreading the long days of July and August Then he gets a letter from his grandfather Virgil who claims to have found a cave with a passage that lets him travel in time Billy Stuart sets out on his grandfather’s trail accompanied by his scout pack the Zintrepids and FrouFrou What Billy doesn’t know is that once they go down the fateful path his grand father took there will be no turning back In the course of their adventures this is how Billy Stuart and his friends and even the dog become stranded in another world in another time
